Capstone: Reaching the Peak

Design. Writing. Editing. Print production. Postcards, posters, social media ads, and event programs.

This design sprung from a creative team meeting when I was communications manager at the Indiana University School of Informatics and Computing at IUPUI. Our challenge was to come up with a new design and tagline for the amazing Capstone events, which showcase graduating students' projects. "Capstone" is not an easy concept to convey, and when the team (me, Geoff Coryell, Abby Watson, Mike Lugjuraj, Nate Garrett, and Anwar Eaton) came up with this rough concept, we liked it so much, we decided to keep it for three consecutive Capstone events, changing slightly the environment for our heroine mountain climber. I had the lucky job of executing the design in all its pieces, always with the help of the creative team.
